SnowScan is the revolutionary development for measuring the height of snow with the aim of making snow production more efficient and thereby cheaper. This system, patented throughout Europe, measures the exact height of snow at each point and makes it possible to achieve optimal snow distribution and production quantity every day.
Integrated directly into the piste machine or into portable touch-screens, the settings of the snow cannons can thus be controlled using W-LAN up to a distance of 400 metres.
The precise measurement of snow height also becomes important in spring: farmers and hunters benefit from the targeted snow distribution and thus the regular melting o the snow.
